Happy New Year! 😝

Happy New Year! 😝

Hi, this is Tak-kun from the Kodomo Food Bank KFB staff! 😁

In 2024, we hope to attract interest from people both inside and outside the prefecture, as well as from overseas.

I would like to express my sincere gratitude once again for the support and volunteer efforts from so many people that allow us to continue our activities.🙇‍♂️🙇‍♂️🙇‍♂️

This activity receives no support from the city or prefecture; it is entirely funded by donations from the public.

We will continue to strive to meet your expectations in 2025 as well.

Thank you very much for your cooperation.

On a different note, please bear with me for a moment. 🙇‍♂️

Our activities can be broadly divided into two categories: providing material support to people in poverty, and providing safe spaces for children.

We support children who are experiencing family discord (parental divorce, parents not being home at night, no one cooking meals, receiving welfare, domestic violence, etc.).

However, we make sure that the children do not find out about our activities.

The reason is that we want children to live freely and naturally, like children should.

I don't want them to feel inferior by learning about our activities and thinking, "I'm different from the other kids..."

I really want to tell the children about all the people who support this activity,

I sincerely apologize for only being able to convey a small part of the information. 🙇‍♂️

However, we would appreciate your understanding for the sake of the children.

Thank you for reading to the end.

I'll be posting blog entries as well, including some from last year, although they'll be a bit delayed. 😁

May 2025 be a wonderful year for all children and everyone else 🙏
