Our Message

“You are loved. You are important.”

This is a message we have continued to share. Our work is not only about food or supplies. We also value time and space where children can feel safe and connect with others.

Our Story

Our work began with food deliveries in October 2014.

A newspaper article about children losing weight during the summer school break moved us to act. Some children depended heavily on school lunches, and long holidays could leave them without enough to eat. In October 2014, volunteers began delivering food to families.

The same desire to bring food and reassurance to each child continues to guide our safe-place and meal programs for children, and our food and essential-supplies support for families, including single-parent households.
